FOR WORKING LOCAL TELEGRAPH AND TELEPHONE LANDLINES.

Arrangement dated 1st August 1895.

Working commenced January 1896.

Government pay Companies £200 per annum for working, by Morse

and Telephone, the Hongkong Office end of 6 Wires - viz.,

Observatory (Morse)

Gap Rock (Morse)

Harbour Master (Telephone)

Peak Signal Station (Telephone)

D'Aguilar (Telephone)

Wharf Company (Morse),

Government provide instruments and bear expenses of maintenance.
